The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques in the world and is a true crown jewel of Abu Dhabi. The mosque was named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first president of the United Arab Emirates. Construction on the mosque began in 1996 and was completed in 2007. The mosque can accommodate over 40,000 worshipers and has incredible architecture and decor. If you’re ever in Abu Dhabi, be sure to put the on the top of your list!

The hours of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque are from sunrise to sunset. Make sure to check the mosque’s website for specific times as they may change based on the season.

The best way to get to the there is by taxi or car. If you’re taking a taxi, make sure to tell the driver that you want to go to “Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque” as some drivers may not be familiar with it by its nickname, “The White Mosque.” The mosque is located on Shahama Street in Abu Dhabi.
