Asakusa is district in Tokyo, Japan.Most famous for the temple which is dedicated to Bodhisattva Kannon. We can see lot of traditional festivals unique to Japan. “Shinto Festivals” is one of them and every shrine in Asakusa hosts at least one Shinto festival per season or per year. The largest one is on May and it called Sanja Festival.  Because of the festival the roads will be closed from early dawn to late evening.

Here we can find old buildings which belong to 1950- 60 and the people on Asakusa are always careful on these buildings and always they try to protect them. Most of the buildings here are built according to the traditional Japanese architecture. So, we can name this place as a place where we can see all the Japanese traditions and culture.

Here you will find traditional film theaters which enables you to watch a traditional Japanese film as past in Japan.  Also there is another attraction which made visitors come to this traditional place is “Sumida river”.

People who visit this charming place don’t forget to visit Sumida River and listen to the nature among the silence of river. Also you can have a boat ride in this river for a reasonable budget and I guess that will be a greatest experience in your travelling life and you will never forget it.
